Although many intellectuals are in the favor of inculcating voluntary services as a mandatory part in the school curriculum, there are few scholars who think otherwise.
I personally feel that such a step would help students considerably, as far as cognitive and social skills are concerned.
A suggestion to integrate community based programs in school curriculum is made by many scholars, keeping in mind that this step will alter and develop students’ psyche over time in a positive direction.
There are a number of clear advantages that favor this notion.
