Conflicting views have been observed that printed books and magazines ought to be replaced by online platforms. Though people can easily read any books at any time, according to their preferences with the help of the internet, I firmly believe that the joy of reading physical books and articles is immensely beautiful and beneficial as well.

There might be some group of people who would insist that reading printed books or magazines is more convenient. They might think that it is worthless to purchase a book when it is available online at free of cost. For example, there are lots of online websites and android applications such as pdf drive, any books, amazon kindle, and so on, that offer people to study and download plenty of books at their favorable time. Not only people can read books online, but they can also store magazines and articles offline in their library account and can enjoy them at any instance of time whether they be in public vehicles or alone at home. Moreover, e-books do not require carrying bags and can be easily accessible within a single touch of mobile. Thus it can be seen that people ought to adopt reading online because of its broad range of advantages.

Nonetheless, reading physical book or articles is always beneficial as far as human health is concerned. For example, reading for longer hours on mobile and tablets, increases the risk of ophthalmic problems such as eye strain, burning of eyes, and even headache, eventually, disturbing the sleeping pattern of people. However, reading printed magazines or books is safe and less likely to hurt our eyes. Moreover, they provide people with a pictorial presentation and vivid illustrations, thereby, avoiding the distractors and multiplying the joy of reading. Not only the books and magazines are read by the younger generation, but they are also favored by middle-aged adults and older people, and when it comes to them, they find it difficult to browse the internet and thus, prefer to read the printed books. Thus, it can be observed that the use of printed books is inevitable indeed.

To sum up, despite the fact that e-books are more convenient to read but the multifarious benefits of reading printed books cannot be unseen. Therefore, as far as physical books are concerned, even in the future, people will not abandon reading it.

Opinions vary on whether to read book and newspapers online or to buy the paper-back of the same. While many consider that e-newspapers and e-books will replace the printed books and in future, no one will buy printed books. I completely agree with the former notion because these resources are freely available online.

The primary reason why people will stop buying printed books is that they have quick and free access to resources. To elaborate, the internet has given the ease to access information 24*7. Owing to this, people get the latest news updates on their phone whereas newspapers take time to print the information and the same information is delivered on the next day. For example, irrespective of their age, everyone has adopted the technology, because of which no one could resist waiting for the printed newspapers. Apart from that, not only one could read the news from the local or national newspapers but also one can easily read any international newspaper. Hence, online platforms give people a larger area to explore.

Another reason being, a plethora of control functions have eased the task to read online. For instance, if a person has to search for specific information in printed resources, he or she has to skim and scan the whole text while in e-books or e-newspapers, this could be performed in seconds by clicking on the control-F key. Also, important text can be easily highlighted. Furthermore, platforms like Amazon Kindle and Google Books give the option for audio books; thereby, making reading a joyful task. Thus, everyone is inclined towards e-books and e-newspapers.

To conclude the aforementioned points, although printed books and newspapers give people convenience in reading, people rely on technology to easily acquire the information. It is not only available free of cost but also gives time-saving functions. Thereby, enhancing the experience of reading.
